If you do not want to drive, you can get around very easily on the Tuk-Tuk or hire a bicycle to enjoy a leisurely drive around the village and valley. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cafe Bon Bon who are our neighbours. Access is through a private gate a short walk through our vineyards. Originally built in the 1880’s, its thick adobe walls, original mud floors, reed ceilings and thatched roof are natural insulators against the heat and cold of the Little Karoo. Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Our place is a neatly restored original McGregor workers cottage with a beautiful large garden in a central location. The property is family and pet friendly (although please note we have 2 covered irrigation dams). Enjoy relaxing in the garden full of birds or explore the main street nearby. There is an outdoor braai, a large stoep and a gazebo for sunny days as well as an indoor anthracite fireplace indoors for chilly days.
