Enjoy the peaceful beauty of Central Iowa's rolling hills, prairies, and distant forests while staying in our newly constructed barndominium. Take in the sweeping views, singing birds, and diverse wildlife from the front porch. Cozy up inside by the electric fireplace, enjoy a movie on Roku TV, curl up in the reading nook, utilize the portable desk or get competitive while playing board games. The barn is located behind our house. The driveway is shared with lots of parking next to the barn.

This 2 BR/2 BA unit has a sleeper sofa, so it can sleep six in a pinch, though the sofa would be best for 1 adult or 2 kids. It is in downtown State Center, 20 minutes W of Marshalltown, 25 mins E of Ames/ISU and 45 mins from Des Moines. Within 3-6 blocks are; -2 restaurants -1 bar -Bank with 24-hour ATM -Watson’s Grocery Museum -Gutekunst Public Library -One Room Schoolhouse -Restored Train Station -Public Rose Garden Come wander around and experience our farming village!

Located on the second floor of a downtown building, this space includes a full kitchen, office nook, bathroom, and a large living area with sleeping quarters. Enjoy beautiful downtown views, just steps from the Michael J. Manatt Community Center and Brooklyn Opera House. Centrally located between Des Moines and Iowa City, with easy access to I-80, this is the perfect spot to experience Brooklyn's charm and history.

Yurt Glamping on a Magical Goat Farm

Located on a beautiful homestead in the 'Bohemie Alps.' Walk up the hill to our 24' yurt, set with beautiful views overlooking the farm and Iowa countryside. Furnished with 2 full/queen beds, pull out couch, clean linens and towels. Set up with electricity and temp control. A true glamping experience in the heartland. Visit with llamas, goats, pigs, horses and hike around the property or stay in for a quiet stay with a good book and enjoy all the sights and sounds. Lots of extra 'add ons'

The Henhouse Retreat- Hot tub, fire pit

The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7.

Happy Valley, A 4-bedroom peaceful farm house.

Happy Valley is located at the end of a peaceful 4 mile gravel road. If you are looking for a peaceful nature get away this is your place. This 4 bedroom, 1896 farm house, is nestled in a beautiful valley on Clear Creek. Farm is located 25 minutes from Ames and Marshalltown. Owners live on the adjacent property; yet privacy between the homes. The driveway is shared between both homes. Walking trails available June-September.

New construction. Directly accessible from HWY 65, this 720 square foot house has a covered porch and a back yard. We are less than 30 minutes from Des Moines, Altoona, Ames, Marshalltown, Ankeny, and Newton. On site washer/dryer, close to several grocery/convenience stores, drive way parking, fully equipped kitchen, and about a 1/4 of a mile from the Heart of Iowa Trail. Access to 24/7 community fitness center.

The Ranch House - Entire Lodge at the Wolfe Ranch

Peaceful stay on an active working ranch near Marshalltown. Guests reserve the entire Lodge living space (kitchen, dining, fireplace, coffee bar). Please note: staff maintain office space within the Lodge and are present in designated areas during business hours (M-Th & Sat 11–3). The Lodge also houses our Cat Lounge in a separate area. Ranch activity and animals are part of the experience.

Tiny Cozy Cottage

Experience the cozy feeling in our tiny 400 sq ft. home. Staying close to those you love and want to share this space with. Yet live big in our tiny home with full sized appliances, spacious fenced yard, large picture windows drawing in the sun. We are just a block from the Riverview Park and trail. It is calm industrial / residential on the north edge of Marshalltown.

Our cabin in the woods is a great place for couples and families to relax and connect. Nestled in the woods on 115 acres of land, there are many trails to explore throughout the timber. Enjoy watching wildlife, laughing around a fire, sitting on the front porch watching the sunset, reading, playing games, and stargazing.
