Nelson Coastal Barnstay - the Barn

Our cottage is just the right mix of rustic and comfort with wonderful mountain views across an expansive valley. It is designed to give that "home away from home" feeling. Enjoy this charming setting, watch the sunsets from the lounge or patio or enjoy a relax in the old bath under the stars. The Barn has two bedrooms and caters for up to 6-7 people The property is located close to safe sandy beaches at Rabbit Island (20 min drive and Kaiteriteri (30 min). Children are welcome and will enjoy the country experience of our farmyard animals, including our kune kune pig, Dudley and two characterful alpacas, Percy and Colin.

Centrally located in our country garden in Mapua village. A perfect setting for your holiday, easy access to all amenities, explore the National parks, visit Rabbit Island on the Ferry, stroll to the wharf and sample the delights of the restaurants and cafes. Our rate includes wifi, linen and cleaning. No early check ins available.
