Take a quiet vacation at this fully renovated historical schoolhouse built in the 1800's. It offers an open floorplan with a loft area where the four twin beds are located *can be made more private by closing the barn doors. There is two full bathrooms, a large kitchen area, living space, dining space, and an open area we can set up to be used for craft activities or other activities upon request. It also has a Halo air purification system, stopping virus particles to travel through the HVAC.

Walk the trails or walk to the winery. MAX OCCUPANCY is TWO guests. You can add a third for $30/night. Guests may not bring additional people, no matter how long. Cottage is located in a quiet cove on Randall Lake (connected to 7 miles of lakes 1100acres). Lake view is spectacular. Front room is all glass. 4 kayaks and paddleboat. On the water enjoy fishing, tubing, sking, swimming. Relax outside under 2 large shade trees on patio for those hot summer days. At night watch the moon reflect off of the lake while enjoying the fire pit. 18-hole public Coldwater Club Golf Course across the road.

Relax and unwind at our peaceful cottage at The Mill District. You will love the views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Everything inside and outside the cottage was recently remodeled including a brand new bathroom. You and your guests will love the well manicured property. Feel free to explore the grounds and bring your photographer (No sitting fee for guests). Peaceful location located next to clear lake.

Water’s Edge-Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, No Fees

Tranquil lake living! The Water’s Edge is a great way to enjoy the lake. It is right on the water with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and a canoe to venture out with. The hot tub accommodates 6 people. The sunroom has beautiful views as well as a couple of beds that can be used if the weather is nice. There is nothing better than falling asleep to lake sounds and a pleasant breeze! Please no college partyers.

Outpost Treehouse

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 50 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!

The Garden House

Relax with the whole family in this charming old home, with swings on the front porch and an overgrown English cottage garden in back. Less than ten minutes from Hillsdale College with a fully equipped kitchen, this makes a great home base for college families. When we travel, we enjoy places with character, and we have maintained the character of this old fashioned family home.
