Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. Little House on the Pretty! Tiny Home in Woods

Little House on the Pretty(LHP) is part of Sittin Pretty Farm. LHP is tucked into the woods giving a place to retreat and restore. The home is finely crafted embodying a simple elegance and character of the Driftless locale. Once inside, a sense of marvel and serenity are sure make heartfelt memories. We are six miles from Viroqua and nestled among Amish Paradise with several neighboring Amish farms. In season the Amish have roadside vegetable stands where you can purchase veggies and pie!

Highland Hideaway

A cozy, secluded two bedroom cabin located in the driftless region with incredible views of the Mighty Mississippi!!! If you’re looking for peace & quiet, beautiful sunsets, watching wildlife or barges cruise this is your place. Only 20 minutes from Wyalusing or pikes peak state park, The Effigy Mounds (Indian Burial Grounds)and Historic Villa Louis. This beautiful cabin centers you 30 miles from amazing hiking, fishing, hunting and nature for a weekend of disconnecting from busy life.

Modern Country Cabin

Clear your mind at this modern, fully furnished cabin in heart of the Driftless region of MN, WI, and IA. Built in 2016, this truly unique space has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

Spacious welcoming 2 bedroom apartment

This is the lower level of a two apartment house Yellow Door apartment above. Full kitchen, plenty of room for small family. Huge porch on the front of the house for morning coffee and evening meals in the warm months. Quiet location nestled in the cedar trees open field. Located the south side of Viroqua it is walkable to downtown. Off street parking right by the door. Pets are allowed by selecting pets when reserving. 5th person is $10 fee because of linens and pull out set up.

Maple Ridge Guest Apartment

This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 5 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.

Paint Creek Place

Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.

In the morning feel free brew yourself coffee or grab a vintage basket and stroll down to the local Shops. In case you'd like to eat out, you're conveniently located within two blocks of several different hot spots in our sweet town. (Our favorites are Driftless Cafe, Maybe Lately’s, Tangled Hickory & Wonder State Coffee Cafe.)

This cabin is perfect for those who seek some quiet and solitude or want to be immersed in the forest, yet a short drive to restaurants or night life. New Hot Tub in November, 2024!!

The Stone Home on N 2nd Street is a historic limestone building. We are 1/2 block from the Mississippi River with views of both the river and BlackHawk bridge. Across the street is the local ice cream shop. We are 1 block from main street and easy walking to restaurants/bars and shops. This is the upper level unit. There is a main level unit below this one. Stairs are required to gain access to this unit.
