Charming Hillside Country Home

This beautiful mid-century house was designed and built by my father. My husband’s parents, Amy and Bob, bought it from my parents’ estate and renovated it. It is filled with light, books and original art. Being inside feels like being outside. It is furnished much as it was when my in-laws moved out, with many of Amy’s paintings. It is not a new or fancy house, but it is authentic and quite a splendid example of mid-century architecture! I hope that you love it as much as I love to share it!

Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, or find inspiration. With raw poplar walls, the cabin offers a full-sized bed by a picture window, small TV, writer's desk/library, air conditioning, fans, baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin!) Simple and beautiful.

Heavenly Acres Farm and Learning Center

Experience a relaxing stay, spending time watching chickens happily foraging or barn animals as they graze in the pasture. Take a walk by the creek, taking in the country sunset.Enhance your experience by interacting with the animals during a farm tour or helping with daily chores. We also offer a variety of learning opportunities as we share how we process fiber, health care for animals or maybe a simple hay ride. The yard is beautiful with walking paths, a hammock, firepit, and seating areas.

The Rayburn House is one of the county’s few remaining examples of a single log-pen house. The front cabin is c. 1834 and a gable front style and the rear cabin is c. 1890. You'll love our cozy cabin with all it's rustic features while enjoying the modern upgrades within. 2 queen beds and a day bed with trundle will comfortably sleep 6. The large eat in kitchen is fully equipped with all your needs, whether your stay short or extended. Located just 15 miles from Purdue University!

Townsend Lodge at Hidden Hollow Farm
