A cosy hideaway in the hills

Unwind at this peaceful oasis in the hills of Argyll in the Trossachs national park. Our converted barn has a twin bedroom downstairs & double room on the open mezzanine above an open-plan living kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble drier. Access to the adjacent forestry road is via a car park 100m north along the roadside. This offers extensive walking routes, including to the Benmore Botanic Garden, Pucks Glen & The Coylet.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a unique 18th Century lime washed stone cottage located a short distance from Whiting Bay. As a Category B listed building of architectural and historic interest, Rose Cottage is believed to be a long house typical of the Western Isles. A delightful home in a peaceful rural location, oozing charm and maintaining much of the original character. Accommodation comprises a large open plan lounge area with galleried mezzanine, kitchen, bathroom and one double room.

Springwell cottage

Springwell cottage has been recently renovated. Centrally heated with living room underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. Can sleep 4 adults and 2 infants or 2 adults and 2 children. We accept a max of 2 well behaved dogs no larger than a Labrador. Separate garden for guests use. Safe little beach and swings just across the road . Start of the Goatfell path 5 min walk away. Corrie hotel bar 5 min walk and dog friendly Also Mara seafood cabin and Deli take away or eat in .

Elevated position with spectacular views over the Gare Loch and secluded private gardens. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Rhu which is famous for its sailing clubs & marina. Main house : 4 large double bedrooms for up to 8 guests. Coach House: 2 guests. Only included if you book for 10. Loch Lomond is just 10 mins away so the perfect base to explore the National Park. The nearby town of Helensburgh has a superb choice of restaurants and coffee shops.

Located in the north Arran village of Lochranza, this house is an ideal jumping off place for hiking, visiting Arran’s attractions or for a day-trip to Kintyre. By day, enjoy watching the yachts come and go and catch sight of some of Arran’s wildlife. In the evening, cozy up in front an open fire after taking in one of Arran’s long sunsets. Cosy and full of character, this charming ‘C’ Listed cottage sits just behind the iconic Hamilton Terrace in the heart of Lamlash, only steps from the beach and 5 mins from Lamlash Golf course. With 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests, it’s perfect for couples, friends or small families. Please note: the stairs are steep, so not suitable for the infirm or young children. We recommend travel insurance as island travel can be affected by weather or ferry delays.
