The cottage is in a superb setting on a south facing hillside with panoramic views across miles of fine Yorkshire countryside. It is approximately two miles from the centre of vibrant Hebden Bridge where there is an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, coffee bars, art décor cinema, theatre and markets. The cottage has been recently refurbished retaining many original features but with all the modern comforts inc a fully fitted kitchen, underfloor heating and a wood burning stove.

Our historic cottage is nestled on the side of the dramatic Shibden valley, famous as the home of Ann Lister, 'Gentleman Jack'. Shibden View offers luxury, self-catering accommodation for up to four adults. Situated on the cobbled Hough, our recently renovated, 18th century building boasts two en-suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a cosy , first floor lounge with panoramic views over Shibden Hall and estate. Berry Bottoms Cabin is a hidden gem nestling into a sloping hillside overlooking a wildlife pond This self-contained cabin, easily sleeps 2 but can accommodate up to 4 with a sofa bed. This is all about outside living with a semi-outdoor kitchen area and ample outdoor seating areas for BBQs or just relaxing and listening to the birds. It is approached on foot down a sloping track ( it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues). Peace and Tranquility, yet close to local amenities!

This stunning, newly renovated cottage is located adjacent to Shibden Hall Estate, the ancestral home of Anne Lister, and inspiration behind the recent BBC period drama “Gentlemen Jack.” A mid terrace cottage with gardens, front and back and surrounded on all sides by green wooded areas. We’re only a 2 minute walk to the historic Shibden Park, where you’ll find a cafe, boating lake, land train and model railway, a well equipped modern playground and of course the majestic Shibden Hall.

This is a beautiful country cottage. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a few years ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. If you like minimalist style this may not be for you, however if you love character, cosyness and a home away from home, welcome to my cottage!
