A cosy self contained one bedroom first floor flat attached to the main Hilton house. It has a living room and kitchenette (with double sofa bed) bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is also a lovely private garden that the flat looks upon. Following an extensive refurbishment the flat has a stunning new ensuite as well as a beautiful freestanding copper bath! Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

Self Contained Rural Retreat Hexham

You enjoy a self contained annexe with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Your accommodation has a private entrance on the ground floor into the sitting room, which has a sofa, dining table and chairs. Within this living area are kitchen facilities including fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. Stairs lead to the double bedroom including wardrobe and drawers.

After a day exploring the local area, wind down and relax in the extra large hot tub or warm your toes in front of the cozy log burner.

School Cottage, Hexham.

Situated in a secluded location, within easy level walking distance of Hexham market town centre, School Cottage is a unique building; a great base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. The cottage has two ensuite bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has an electric wood burning effect stove with satellite TV. Off street parking for two cars is included along with a private south facing courtyard.

Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
