Charming and cosy Crooked Nook is a 2 bedroom characterful little cottage built in the 1750s. It is quirky, filled with history but is also comfortable with mod cons! Centrally positioned in the Peak District National Park at around 25 miles to both Manchester and Sheffield, Crooked Nook is located in the tiny village of Sparrowpit (1200ft!) in the heart of fantastic cycling and walking countryside with routes, rides and paths criss- crossing the Peak District some right from the front door!

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. The Lodge offers a King size bed, ensuite shower room & fully fitted kitchen/diner.

The property is in a delightful and secluded position on the south facing side of Darley Hillside with views over the valley. The main living area is on the upper floor, accessed directly from the driveway and car-port via a hallway leading to the master bedroom and ensuite; living room with open log fire, dining area and internal balcony access to 2-storey atrium complete with spiral staircase; cloakroom; toilet, and kitchen with tree top external terrace.

Self contained annexe in my private garden with ensuite bathroom. Own entrance via side gate. Fridge and kettle with tea and coffee and also microwave, toaster and crockery/cutlery/glasses. Breakfast cereal and milk is supplied and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gym and pool across the road , also pub and takeaways within walking distance. Includes towels and toiletries. Sunday evenings are available by request.
