This area is a paradise for walkers, with many walks very close by, and a local pub only 1.5 miles down the road.

Laburnum Cottage, Kington: on Welsh borders

Laburnum Cottage is a modernised annexe - with a double bedroom en-suite upstairs and a large sofabed downstairs. Situated just outside Kington (at the bottom of a steep lane below Kington Golf Course) in the heart of walking country. We are close to Welsh border towns too. For walking - historic Offa’s Dyke is a few fields away. Penrhos Gin and British Cassis tours are nearby. Hay-on-Wye (book festival) is a 20-minute drive away. Train stations are: Leominster or Hereford. Walkers welcome.

This magical, stylish gem of a holiday cottage is situated in the grounds of a Georgian townhouse in the heart of Hereford city. This newly renovated property has an open plan kitchen and living room area complete with cooker, sink, fridge, breakfast bar with bar stools, sofa and TV. Up the gold painted stairs is a bedroom with double bed, desk, hooks and hangers and a bathroom with bath and over-bath shower.

The open plan living space comprises of a Kitchen with full amenities, a sitting room, with a comfy sofa and a log burner. The bedroom has a very comfy King Size bed and a TV. The bathroom boasts a large shower and a double-ended roll top slipper bath. Outside is a large decking area with your own personal Hot Tub to relax in after taking on some of the many walks in the areas.

This self-contained studio is the perfect location for cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding, fishing, wild swimming, and exploring the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. A footpath at the door, with just a 5 min walk to the river and approx. 1 mile to the Offa's Dyke path which takes you to Hay Bluff. Very pleasant footpath/ bike route to the town . Bike storage on request, CCTV cameras on premises and free car park space provided.

Woodcutters Cottage at Copthorne Farm

A luxury hideaway in the grounds of an old cider producing Herefordshire farmhouse, Woodcutters Cottage provides a great base to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Wye Valley. Cheltenham Racecourse is within easy reach for the Festival in March as well as other festivals for the non-horsey throughout the year - jazz, science and literary. Hay festival is also close enough to use this gorgeous cottage as a base.

Tucked in a peaceful valley at the foot of the Black Mountains, this retreat offers direct access to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the region. A brook runs nearby, and a lake lies within easy reach, perfect for short wild swims, by arrangement. Walking and hiking trails lead straight from the door, while cyclists will find rolling country lanes and more challenging routes into the hills.
