The Knap, an annexe of our home, is close to many of Dorset's famous beauty spots along the Jurassic Coast, such as Corfe Castle, Studland Beach and Old Harry Rocks. During your stay you'll have the place to yourselves, including a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious bathroom, (with bath and shower), and a living space including a sumptuous double bed, sofa-bed and table. It has 1 en-suite bedroom with double shower, fully fitted kitchen, and large bi-fold doors leading out to your own private garden. It’s a great space for couples looking for a mini break/romantic getaway. It’s also a great base for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast and all the incredible views South Dorset has to offer.

Chapel Cottage

Located on the high street this characterful Purbeck stone cottage was originally built as the Baptist Chapel. It has a wealth of charm with many quirky features. It is situated on the Isle of Purbeck, which is an excellent location for outdoor activities and discovering the delights of the world heritage Jurassic Coast. Positioned close to the Priests Way path you can explore a number of great coastal walks. Or you could just pop across to the fantastic local pub for a pint and bite to eat.

A perfect escape from the crowds. This newly built cabin nestles in the Purbeck countryside in the grounds of a Victorian cottage. Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Chuffers is a private, comfortable, self-contained guest suite in a quiet village in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, half-way between Corfe Castle and Swanage. Situated a five minute walk from the centre of beautiful Corfe Castle, the Mousehole is a newly converted and fitted out annexe to our home. It is light and bright, yet peaceful. Completely self contained and surrounded by glorious countryside, you can explore from the doorstep. We have four pubs within a short walk, and a fabulous village shop / Post Office. Beaches are within a short drive or bus ride and the Swanage Railway steam trains stop in the village.
