Entire 2nd Floor of Historic Farm House

Welcome to our warm and inviting historic farm home. Enjoy a quaint and cozy stay with easy access to Athens, UGA, Madison, Monroe, and Watkinsville. You will enjoy the entire second floor. The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

The Portico cabin, built in the 1870's, is cozy, rustic and carefully preserved. It is ideal for a couples getaway, small family staycation or solo retreat to escape everyday life and connect with nature. Relax on the porch rockers or cozy up by the wood stove, surrounded by books. Enjoy the cabin and surrounding 60 acres, featuring walking trails, fishing pond, a large fire pit, river access with canoes, and historic church, The Portico. Explore the nearby towns of Athens, Monroe and Madison.

This custom-built getaway was designed for relaxation and self-indulgence, complete with special amenities to make your stay comfortable and treetop and garden views from every window where you may catch a glimpse of the emu, turkeys, swans, and peafowl roaming below. It's quiet and private, yet walking distance to East Atlanta Village- one of the hottest neighborhoods in Atlanta.

1811 Cottage at Sunflower Farm

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Home was originally built in the 1800s! In renovating to provide useable space we’ve tried to keep as much character as possible while allowing for the comforts of today. Home sleeps 2 adults & 2 kids comfortably or 3 adults. Ideally We’d love our guests to come visit and take a cue from life before modern technology. Celebrated on Netflix’s “Worlds Most Amazing Vacation Rentals” & “Love is Blind," we are a working rescue farm. Watch llamas and alpacas wander; hear roosters crow, from 15 up, in Atlanta. You will be living in the middle of the animals, in the bamboo, in the treehouse. We book film, weddings, photography for SPECIAL RATES. Check out our beautiful Cottages too, on airbnb. Enjoy a unique experience at The Pirate House guest suite in historic Covington. Located in a beautifully decorated circa 1910, New Orleans style home. Just a half mile walk to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Covington and even closer to many popular filming locations. While this home has not been used for filming, all of the surrounding properties have and it is mentioned on local tours due to its unique design & eccentric holiday decor that is displayed year round.
