Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Freshly renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. Complete with kitchenette, located in the same space as bedroom (see pics) seperate bathroom across a small covered gangway and outdoor furniture on the rear of our reserve front property just a 2 min walk from the beach. Welcome to Island View Cottage, your gorgeous and private getaway. Relax with massive ocean views from the lounge and every bedroom. Access the huge deck from every room, with shade and sunshine at all times of day. Make yourself at home on 1.5 acres, with full kitchen, washer, dryer, outdoor seating and BBQ, walk-in wardrobe, work desk and ample parking. Kapowai Cabin

Cosy cabin overlooking orchard & native bush. Ideal as a base to explore the area or an overnight stay. Set on a small farm 15 minutes drive from Whitianga & Hot Water, Hahei or Cathedral Cove beaches. Our sunny cabin has a comfortable queen bed, en suite bathroom, covered deck & parking, set adjacent to our house. Tea, coffee and continental breakfast for your first morning are provided in the cabin. Please note due to limited space two people max (no additional infants).

The Lookout

The Lookout is a stand alone guest cabin located on an elevated private 10 acre property just 5 minutes drive to Cooks Beach. Situated next to regenerating bush, it offers views through to Mercury Bay Winery, the Purangi Estuary & beyond to Mercury Bay itself. Entirely self contained, The Lookout is lined with warm natural timbers and has a comfortable queen size bed. It also has a private deck area perfect for morning coffees, BBQs, stargazing and bird watching.

Studio with a View

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Cozy on Cook

Awesome Lost Spring hot pools only 100m away. Take an easy short walk to beach, ferry and town centre. Hire electric bikes, go across the ferry and ride to Cooks beach and even Hahei. Hire kayaks and take a scenic row in the Estuary and waterways. Newly renovated, separate entrance to studio apartment. Own bathroom on suite. Studio attached to main house. Own small private deck with cooking facilities, with electric fry pan and BBQ.

Coromandel Bach @ Otama Beach

Our original Kiwi bach (cabin) overlooks one of the Coromandel Peninsula's most beautiful beaches - Otama. It's like stepping back into another time but with all modern conveniences. Eclectically styled, we're very proud to say we were featured in the December 2016 edition of NZ House & Garden magazine and have been Airbnb Superhosts since the programme began over ten years ago.
