Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. Childwall Cottage

Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

An extension offers an additional boot room/rustic bathroom/loo and paved courtyard. The grounds are comprised of upper and lower lawns set on half an acre. A country pub is within walking distance.

Excellent for stargazing as zero light pollution and for relaxation as zero traffic noise! Surrounded by stud farms and agricultural land.

An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck plus a single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a private Finnish Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).
