Slad - lovely rural views

We have lived in Slad since 1985, it is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year - our guests can explore the lovely valley and surrounding countryside; we're two miles from Stroud. Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswolds are within easy reach. We have really enjoyed being Airbnb hosts for over 5 years ; we have two rooms available with double beds (but also suitable for single visitors). We have a lovely, lively collie Zelda, so are now getting lots of Slad walks ourselves too!

Lovely Laura Ashley styled room There is an expectation that you will not be in the house between 9am-4pm. We mainly cater for business guests. Private bathroom. Open to one night stays WE HAVE 2 Ragdoll HOUSE CATS. Check-in BTW 4pm-8pm Check out no later than 9am In the evening the doors are locked at 2200hrs so no late nights please. Situated on a working sheep and arable farm in the Cotswolds with spectacular views across to Cleeve Hill and Winchcombe . We have Sudeley Castle 1/4 mile down the road and the historic town of Winchcombe is only 1 mile away. There are a good variety of pubs and restaurants around the area and plenty of Cotswold villages to explore. The rooms are all en suite with a large lounge for guests and a cosy dining room with great views for a full English or continental breakfast which is included

The village is a haven of peace and quiet but close to the historic towns of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway among others. There are also many beautiful walks from the house.

2 Little Orchard is situation in Stanton, one of the prettiest and unspoilt villages in the Cotwolds. The Mount Inn is a 10 minute walk away and has stunning view and wonderful home cooked food. Broadway is just under 3 miles away with more pubs, cafes and shops. Stratford on Avon is the regions cultural centre with its theatre and Shakespearian heritage, and Cheltenham is approx. 11 miles away with excellent shopping, many wonderful restaurants and of course the famous race course

Friendly hosts provide a clean and comfortable room in a detached (non-smoking) family home in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. The house is close to bus routes to Gloucester, Stroud and the Cotswolds. It is also within a five minute walk of a Tesco Express shop (open 7-11), and a mile from two large supermarkets. Restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Excellent location for walkers, especially as a stop-off while doing the Cotswold Way. Local walk information available.

There is off road parking available on the driveway.
