Local activities include Hiking the Appalachian trail, Whitewater Rafting, Fishing, & enjoying the Indoor Fireplace while the kids play pool & watch movies.

Newly redecorated, wonderfully rustic, & simply charming rock cottage family home with lake view & a creek running beside it, directly off a main road (no steep driveways). Just at .6 miles to the Alarka Boat Ramp & Marina, less than ten miles to downtown Bryson City, 20 minutes to Nantahala Outdoor Center, under 20 miles to Cherokee & Harrah's casino, 30 miles to The Dragon's Tail. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets on the front porch while waving to passing vehicles (most likely a family member!).
