Beautiful, inspiring, and peaceful, Arthouse is a place to escape. This converted art studio in West Dorset is close to Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. It’s the perfect place for a cozy winter break, Perfect for couples, or for a family to enjoy a tranquil break on the on the Isle of Purbeck. Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

Enjoy a stay in our recently refurbished one bedroom basement apartment with well equipped kitchen, bathroom, private entrance, parking and garden access. Hidden away in a quiet residential area but only 5 mins walk from the centre of Wareham which has many cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent cinema and shops. Visit the popular quay area with boat hire and a weekend market. A 30 minute bus or car ride will take you to stunning beaches, historic villages and endless walking opportunities.

There is a cosy double bedroom with a king size bed (which can be set up as 2 x 2ft 6 singles), shower room and a well equipped kitchen/dining/living room which has a sofa bed. The property has its own pretty courtyard garden and off road parking for one car. The annexe is part of our main house although completely self contained and therefore you may occasionally be aware of the normal sounds of family life
