Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cottage is situated on a quiet road, 1km from a blue flag beach. The picturesque village of Clogherhead is 3.3km away and has restaurants, takeaways, pubs and a beach cafe. Louth is the Land of Legends and has a rich history with plenty to see and do. There are a wide variety of outdoor activities including golf, walking and water activities. The M1 motorway is a 14min drive with Dublin and Belfast an hour in either direction.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
