Ros cottage was lovingly created and built by its only owner twenty years ago with a design that makes you believe its been there forever. While it looks old and traditional, it is equipped with all the modern amenities one could ever want. Nestled atop a hillside and overlooking the Irish sea and Carlingford Lough, this is a haven for family , or individuals who want to get away from “ the madding crowd “ and live as one with nature. With breathtaking and uninterrupted views over the sea towards the Mourne Mountains , Ros Cottage is a one off and has to be seen to be believed. This family home is within two miles of the medieval village of Carlingford and the home of some of the finest restaurants and bars on the North East coast. Enjoy the excellent quality food and service with the famous locally grown Carlingford oysters washed down with locally brewed beers. Take the local fifteen minute ferry ride and you will arrive at the Royal County Down golf club. Should you prefer things to be a little less hectic , take one of the many hiking trails just outside your back door, or retire to the sun room to read and relax. Alternatively , just meander through the beautifully matured Ros Cottage garden all lovingly planted by the owner. This is a very unique and beautiful home with an abundance of character. The Love Hub is designed for couples to enjoy. Light the log burner and cozy up together on the couch. The garden you can sit out and light up the Fire pit and BBQ and wine! The Star Portal room, you can cozy up in a double bed with glass ceiling where you can look up to the Stars at night. There is a private wood fired 8 person Hot Tub with disco ball and Cinema Projector with Netflix, Prime and Disney+. In the evening he Love Hub has amazing lighting and sets the mood for an amazing night.

Inside has a newly renovated interior, wood burning stove and is snug all year round with central heating. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, explore the beach every day, walk the coastline, and drop into the infamous Lily Finnegans Pub.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Bobby’s Cottage, Carlingford Lough, Omeath

Bobby's Cottage Omeath is a beautiful 2 bedroom house, on a quiet lane at the foot of Slieve Foy mountain, only 5min walk to Omeath Village or 10 minute car/taxi journey to the bustling village of Carlingford, with its array of pubs and restaurants. It is set in a beautiful tranquil location with ample car parking. Its a perfect base to enjoy the many walking trails the area has to offer or just kick back and relax and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.

This beautiful property is located in the heart of Knockbirdge Village, Co Louth, a quiet village that offers a range of local amenities including shop, takeaway and traditional pub. While still convenient to Dundalk, Blackrock, Carlingford and Carrickmacross. Only an hour drive will take you to both Dublin and Belfast City (M1 Motorway Junction 16) We have lovingly restored and renovated this cottage over the years to provide a cosy and welcoming home.
