The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room will be closed for refurbishment from Monday 2nd March until Thursday 2nd April 2026. Changeover days are Friday (for a 3 night stay) and Monday (for a 4 night stay) or 7 nights from either day, but please contact me if you have any queries with your dates as we can sometimes be flexible.

Chaucer’s Retreat is a lower ground floor apartment in the expertly converted former Chaucer House Hotel, a local heritage building located directly opposite St John’s Church in the heart of Keswick. Sleeping two, it is a large apartment with its own private entrance and car parking space. It has a large king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom, there is also a separate shower room. It has a fully equipped kitchen and utility space with washer dryer.
