Gwenlli Shepherds Hut

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

This cosy one bedroom cabin , handcrafted from Welsh larch, is nestled in a peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Newborough forest. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.

With underfloor heating, wood burning stove, toilet, shower, fridge and a patio you could not wish for a more secluded location. Hot tub is located 15 feet from the pod and very private. Walking distance from Ffestiniog Steam Railway Station and Porthmadog centre, with its many cafes and shops. Beaches, castles, Portmeirion, Beddgelert and the wider Snowdonia National Park are all nearby. The apartment is perfect for a couple or a single traveller.

It's just a 2 minute stroll to the railway station, less than 10 mins walk to the local supermarket and post office and our beautiful sandy beach is a 15 mins, level walk along the lane. We are within Eryri National Park with amazing scenery, abundant walks and leisure activities. Sorry but strictly no pets.

Situated in the heart of Snowdonia. The perfect location for exploring the National Park and all it has to offer. Or if you prefer you could sit and relax in our Zen Garden and enjoy the wonderful view.
