There are many lovely walks/cycle routes right from the front door into the surrounding villages . The Ribble Valley is spoilt for choice as there are so many amazing pubs and restaurants nearby. Holmes Mill with its own brewery and food hall and wedding venue is within walking distance. The house is lovely , cosy and spacious and very convenient for a well earned break in the countryside. Waddington, a mile down the road, has three pubs including the excellent Waddington Arms. You will love our cosy, compact cottage dating from the 1730's set in beautiful gardens. Fall asleep to the sounds of the babbling brook. A private patio overlooks the brook to fields. Pets are welcome. Note that due to its age, the door and original beam are low.

Within the village there are three popular pubs, the Lower Buck Inn, the Higher Buck and the Waddington Arms also a beautiful church all within 2mins walking distance from the cottage. Well behaved dogs are welcome. dogs cannot be left unaccompanied in the cottage and not allowed on furniture. All guests will be left a welcome pack with bread,milk, tea, coffee + butter.
