Located 4.2 miles to Bass Lake, 23 miles to Yosemite South Gate Entrance (Mariposa Grove) or 90 minutes to Yosemite Valley. Amenities include stocked kitchen with Keurig, queen bed, sofa bed, and small sleeping loft w/queen mattress. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, stargazing or playing the 6-hole disc golf course.

We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! We are in the epic center of the lowest( Death Valley),highest(Mt Whitney) and the oldest(Bristlecone tree forest).

Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the gold country surrounded by wilderness. The house is magical inside and out, with unique curved walls and ceilings, facing a seasonal pond and home to much wildlife. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond. Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.
