This is a calm, cottagecore oasis situated in the Hyde Park neighborhood, a five minute walk from Shipe Park and pool, Quack’s Bakery, Julio’s Tex Max, Hyde Park Grill, Juiceland and Antonelli’s Cheese Shop. If you’re into highly organized spaces and library ladders, you’ve found the right spot!

Walkable East Austin Casita

This is a trendy, comfortable and convenient guesthouse for spending a fun-filled getaway in East Austin. Our casita is walkable to many of Austin’s hottest spots, including the Moody Center: Austin’s largest music venue. Built in 2020, our guesthouse features a lofted queen-sized bed, a couch with a pull-out twin mattress, an elegant walk-in shower, smart TV, and small appliances including fridge-freezer, microwave, and Nespresso coffee maker. Within a 15-20 minute walk to the Moody Center, the Bass Concert Hall, the UT sports complex and the University of Texas campus, you can avoid (the sometimes horrendous) event traffic and parking fees. The neighborhood also has many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and even a fringy theater company, all within a few minutes walk.

Our garage apartment is nestled in the rear of our backyard with stairs leading to the unit. It's newly renovated. We are walking distance (.2 miles) to all the famous Hyde Park eateries ( Quack's, Curra's, Asti's, etc.). We live on the same property, so you will see us! No smokers please, we like to keep our residence smelling fresh and clean. We will charge you an additional fee if the apartment smells like smoke after your stay.
