Nella parte esterna c'è un cortile di pietre grigie ed un orto biologico ricco di verdure cresciute con amore e fiori antichi di altri tempi. L'alloggio è per due persone, singole o in coppia, ma c'è anche la possibilità di aggiungere un lettino se ci fosse un bambino presente. La valle del Mugello ha piccoli tesori di rara bellezza: il borgo medievale di Scarperia, le pievi romaniche di Borgo S. Lorenzo, di Sant'Agata e della piccola località di San Giovanni, la casa del pittore Giotto a Vicchio. Le verdi passeggiate nei sentieri dei boschi nell'Appennino tosco-emiliano, il succulento tortello mugellano ripieno di patate, il Lago di Bilancino vicino a Barberino del Mugello.
