Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. You will be surrounded by beautiful scenery. There are six large bedrooms including two en suites. There are three pull out sofa beds if you need more sleeping room. The town is about a 15 minute walk away. There you will find pubs with food and live music. Be as loud or quiet as you wish.
