Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Our cabin runs solely off what the earth provides using solar power and rainwater collection, so conservation of the resources is a must while staying with us. Our cheerful, quiet and private a-frame style cabin is only 25 miles from the Buffalo National River with canoeing, swimming, and other activities. It is 6 miles from the Richland Creek Wilderness and about 8 miles from Falling Water creek, and 12 miles from Richland Creek Campground where the trail head starts for Richland Falls and Twin Falls. It is 25 miles from Marshall, 45 miles from Clinton and Walmart. We are only 1.5 hours from Branson MO, or Eureka Springs AR, or Ponca AR.

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Lost Valley and beyond, the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind! With a full kitchen, fire pit, horseshoe pit, charcoal grill, and more we wish you to be able to vacation deliberately, comfortably, and affordably! Please hit us up with any questions and thank you! We do have Pyrenees dogs who watch over the farm, they are harmless and just part of the landscape. Firewood for sale, 5$ an arm load!
