In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Quiet, private country location to relax and unwind. 9 miles west of Dubuque, close to Wineries, Heritage Trail, Sundown Mountain Resort. Cozy cabin and quarter acre pond. Sun yourself on the patio, or nap in the shade of the covered porch. We're sure you will love this space as much as we do. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children and no pets. Outdoor relaxing space, gas grill. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

This custom log cabin is the perfect getaway for friends & family seeking the solitude of the Galena Territory and fine dining and shops just 10 minutes away on Galena's Main Street. Each of the 3-levels offers an owner's suite with bath. Cozy up to 2 fireplaces, grill on the deck, or make 'smores at the firepit. The cabin has high speed, fiber internet and the lower-level walkout features a 55” flat screen TV. Guests can access swimming pools & pool tables at the Owner's Club 7 minutes away.

Unplug in our gorgeous barn loft above our working barn. Sleep to the sound of crickets and frogs in the pond, then wake up and pet the sheep, goats, rabbits, cats, ducks & chickens. Open floor plan, cathedral ceiling, farm decor, fire pole, sliding barn doors. Full kitchen, jetted tub, rain shower, laundry. Stone patio, fire pit. 2 bedrooms, sleeper sofa, air mattresses. Custom Floating Suite-HOT TUB!

Enjoy a stay directly on the backwaters of the Mississippi River. This custom cabin is floating right on the water, and you won't find anything like it! Grab your loved one or friend and surround yourself in nature, while soaking in the hot tub on the floating patio, or in the beautiful tub inside. Relax in the king size bed thats in front of one of the two fireplaces. The cabin has everything you need, including a small kitchen. This floating oasis is located at Millennium Marina.

Beautiful Miner's Cottage in a Garden

This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!

Ulysses Suites, Suite 303

Ulysses Suites has just been completed inside the historic J. G. Schmohl building in the heart of downtown Galena, located at 213 to 217 S. Main Street. The location is walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. We have 7 suites and a beautiful lobby that are modern and luxurious, with lots of historical character and texture as a nod to its previous existence as the Grant Hotel from 1895 to 1933. The Presidential Suite 303 is located on the 3rd floor.

Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This home has been recently refurbished and sits at the edge of our 15 acres. You can see us and visit with us if you like, or you can maintain privacy 10 acres away!

Marvin Gardens Cabin

The Cabin, located on a private lane, is a cozy and roomy getaway nestled in the woods overlooking the Mighty Mississippi River. It offers a peaceful respite with a kitchenette, large fireplace, and a deck overlooking the Mississippi River. It has a bedroom with a queen size bed and two twins in the great room. Enjoy hiking, playing board games, cooking, grilling out, or a just lazy night of TV and popcorn by the fire.
