Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

(Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

Enjoy the peace and quiet or make some noise! This immaculately clean living space is beautiful. You will find comfortable beds, ample kitchen space, and lots of room to roam.

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.

Ground floor unit located on 35 acres with stunning mountain and lake views from 8,000 feet overviewing Vallecito Lake/ reservoir and surrounding valley. The newly constructed 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and kitchen unit has its own private front and side entrance with easy parking. The home borders San Juan National Forest on 2 sides. Hiking trails on the property with wildlife sightings of turkey, deer, fox, and others. Walking distance to Rocky Mountain General store.

Lakeside Haven

Welcome to our little slice of heaven. The apartment is above our detached garage and accessed through a separate private entrance. We've equipped it with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The neighborhood offers a lake (with a walking trail) right across the street, National Forest access, and wildlife (deer, turkeys, the occasional bear). We do live onsite and are here should you have questions or need recommendations.
