Bear Hug Retreat, our cozy 3 BR home set in the picturesque Colorado mountains in Forest Lakes north of Bayfield & east of Durango. George the Bear & his little buddy Sam will greet you on the large wrap-around porch with plenty of places to sit & enjoy the mountain air & beautiful views. Plenty of space for a group of friends/family to come together to play games or cook meals in our well-appointed kitchen. Close to many attractions like fishing, hiking, skiing, etc. It's the perfect getaway!

Beautiful Log Mountain Home with a View

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

Play pool, ping pong, shoot a few hoops, or try your skills at pickle ball. The barndo has all of these amenities and more. You are in your own private space. Enjoy the peace and quiet or make some noise! This immaculately clean living space is beautiful. You will find comfortable beds, ample kitchen space, and lots of room to roam.

Sundance Studio

Stay for work or relaxation in this unique and charming studio filled with custom furniture and cozy amenities. Property backs up to the Florida River and has a view of the local historic Rio Grande Railroad bridge used in the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The studio has Starlink internet, the coziest bed ever, cute kitchenette and heated floor bathroom. Plus a wood pellet fireplace! Just 18 min drive to downtown Durango and 8 minutes to the closest coffee shop!

The Bungalow on Mill St.

Peaceful and centrally-located place in the Heart of Olde Bayfield. Restaurants, Dog friendly Parks, are near by. This Bungalow is Dog Friendly as well except we ask that you don' allow your pets on the furniture and use the clean up station for your pet in the courtyard. Parking is available in the driveway or you can park curbside if preferred . Fishing paradise all around the Valley such as Lake Vallecito. Enjoy your stay!

Guest suite close to Airport and National Forest

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located in the little town of Bayfield, CO and close to all the activities that Southwest Colorado has to offer. This guest studio is surrounded by tall Ponderosa Pines. The deer love to hang out in the shade of the oak brush during the day. There is a front/back porch to enjoy Colorado sun with your own private hot tub (included in the price). Sorry, no pets!
