The house was renovated with all new appliances and decor, but the chic cottage feeling reminds you that you are on the charming Island of Balboa, Many of our repeat visitors are 3 generation families. the grandparents, children and grandchildren, who love their "trundle room". The sand and bay are just steps away. Bikes, SUPs, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, games, for both inside and out. We even have a baby pool to use on the patio for little ones. Also a port a crib and high chair if needed. There is a tenant in back who will share the W/D in the garage, but the rest of the property and equipment is yours. I usually meet the guests on arrival to show them around and of course to meet them. I live just a few miles away, so am available if they havr questions, The home is situated on Balboa Island, a little-known gem. Main Street, which is just 2 blocks away, has unique shops and several restaurants. The ferry to Newport Beach is just a short walk from the house. Kayak, bike, paddle board, or simply relax on the beach. Walking or biking are the easiest ways to navigate the Island! We have a garage for your use, and Fashion Island and Newport Beach are close by. Balboa is a lovely little community and some of our neighbors live there year round, so we ask our guests to respect that the houses are close by, and to bring their visiting inside at 10 on weekdays and 11 on the weekends.

Located on the second floor and includes one car garage parking spot. The bungalow is a block away from Corona Del Mar Beach in the "Flower Streets," surrounded by multimillion dollar homes. CDM Village—known for quaint shops, café’s, bakeries, and restaurants—is just around the corner. Disneyland is 20 miles away.

This is a classic 1960's beach house with brand new windows, doors, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, paint, furnishings, appliances - you name it. We are super proud of the finished look and know it will make a wonderful home away from home! Style is an eclectic mix of beachy mid-century and maximalism (read: FUN). Must be 25 to book. Vintage beach cottage w/ modern-day conveniences (central heat & A/C), Apple TV, DVD, vintage appliances, incl. dishwasher) on the quiet-end of Balboa Island; tree-lined street, steps to beaches on South Bayfront; 2 blocks to Balboa Island ferry and Island Market. Cottage was built in 1923 and served as a "Speak Easy" (a bar during the prohibition era ) with many famous actors, musicians, singers patronizing the site (John Wayne, James Cagney & Humphrey Bogart) just to name a few.

Great 2 bedroom 2 bath, beach cottage with a modern contemporary flare. Open concept to allow a spacious feel with all the amenities to feel at home. This unit was completely gutted and redone, so any reviews prior to May 2022 were about the older unit prior to the major remodel.
