A cute cabin getaway in the heart of lake Benton, Minnesota located right beneath “Hole In The Mountain” state park. There is access to horse tails near by and walking distance from the cozy gem of a town. The lake is directly in front of the cabin and has public access right down the road. This is the perfect budget friendly get away for a family or a great place to lodge for hunting and fishing. Great in the summer and the winter! Enjoy the elegance of a timelessly beautiful era while staying in this National Register of Historic Places home. Also, the former hospital. This spacious 3rd level attic suite contains two large rooms (a bedroom and living space). The abundance of natural lighting, private porch, and private entrance (you will walk through host's kitchen) will make for a one-of-a-kind stay. The suite is located downtown within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. Note: There is a cat in the home.

Located within minutes of downtown Slayton, local bakery, coffee shop, fairgrounds, racetrack, golf courses and Lake Shetek.

Keyless Entry & WiFi, Roku TV. Off Street Parking & street parking. Please note that this home does not have cable . Only a few minutes to Lake Yankton, Camden State Park and Garvin Park. Note that we are 20 minutes from every other town, so please do not book with the intention of a 3 star due to location :).

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Parsonage of Marshall is conveniently located half a block off Marshall’s Main Street with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This charming home is also within blocks of 5 local churches and funeral home. The Parsonage is a comfortable and convenient place to stay while visiting Marshall for an event or leisure. The Stella house is old, unique, and has a lot of history. We hope you will appreciate the furnishings that match the era of a 100+ year old house. Close to many of the area's popular attractions like the Laura Ingalls Wilder Trail/Museum and Pipestone Monument. This small town has a great small lake with lakeside park and public access. Close to Marshall, MN and Lake Shetek. Enjoy your stay in this beautiful, historic home that oozes with character.

Secluded Lakeside Cabin on Acreage

Lakeside Cabin on 40 acres of solitude on the inlet of beautiful Lake Shetek has the most peaceful views of the sunrise, waterfowl, and stargazing. There are walking trails and an amazing playground to enjoy. The fire pit and fishing dock also add to the experience. Feel free to set up a tent for additional sleeping space if needed. You will be refreshed by the gorgeous views and time spent reflecting in this space.

The Queen Bee

You’ll be the bee’s knees staying in this quaint Victorian home with comfort and charm. Currently there is road construction in the front of the house. It is only worked on during the daytime and when I am there I don’t notice it being terribly loud. You can access from the back alley and park on the grass, however if you would like to cancel I completely understand!
