Bohemian Firehouse: una auténtica estación de bomberos de 1916

La Bohemian Firehouse fue la vivienda de los hombres destinados allí cuando se construyó en 1916. Se encuentra encima de un espacio comercial que albergaba el camión de bomberos. El encantador edificio de ladrillo está en condiciones casi originales, a pesar de sobrevivir a una gran inundación y a un derecho. Te encantarán las preciosas carpinterías, los azulejos vintage y las lámparas. Pero apreciarás algunos toques modernos como aire acondicionado, una cocina actualizada y televisión inteligente. Aún así, es fácil imaginar las historias que estas paredes podrían contar.

Our place is close to everything! NOTE- Our home will sleep two adults and two children comfortably, but NOT 4 adults. A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in.

Our quaint log cabin tucked in the trees is host to homespun touches all around. Bird watch on any of our outdoor spaces or take a walk through our freshly mowed trails (jan-mar, jun-sept). Located in a migratory path, enjoy the essence of nature all around you.

Historical Apartment w/ Whirlpool Tub

155 years old, the original Prayer Meeting Hall of Amana Iowa will welcome you to stay in the oversized suite. A large king size bed and the two-person whirlpool tub will make your stay comfortable and relaxing. After a day of shopping and strolling on the main road, stop by one of the three wineries or the brewery all within walking distance of Sandstone Haus. Come back to your suite and slip into one of our custom robes while you fill the whirlpool for a night or relaxation.
