Close to all water sports especially kayaking and tubing on the Muskegon River or boating on Croton and Hardy Dam ponds. The Dragon Trail is 3 miles away. Access for North Country Trail is from multiple locations near the cabin. Located 4 miles from Newaygo for small town fun and food. Three miles from Croton Damn. Fast internet service.

With a sandy bottom & clean water, this 60 acre all-sport lake is a wonderful spot to paddleboard, kayak, fish, boat or just sit, rest & read. Gradual depth increase & no drop-off. There are 2 public launches & our 40 foot private dock for your own boat or jet ski! 2 kayaks & 1 paddleboard available. Joining us in winter? Ice fishing, local snowmobile trails & beautiful sunsets.

The second-floor condo offers stunning unobstructed views of the lake and a relaxing, nature-filled atmosphere. Pickerel Lake connects to several nearby lakes, including Emerald Lake, Kimball Lake, and Sylvan Lake—making it an ideal destination for boating, kayaking, and fishing enthusiasts. With access to multiple bodies of water, your outdoor adventures can go as far as the lakes will take you.

Devil's Hole Cottage - on the Muskegon River

Welcome to our cottage! We are located directly on the Muskegon River in Newaygo Michigan. The Muskegon River is known for its great fishing. You can fish right out front of the cottage or bring your own river boat and keep it at our dock. Kayak and tube rentals are available in town. Enjoy the intimate feel of the cottage with cozy rooms and a fully stocked kitchen for you to enjoy eating in. Downtown Newaygo has many restaurants and shopping if you want to venture out.

Little Blue A-Frame on the River

Rustic A-frame cabin offers a unique and peaceful escape. Tucked away in a wooded setting, this charming cabin features dock access to the Muskegon River making it perfect for fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. Inside, enjoy a comfortable living space, kitchenette, and lofted sleeping area. Outside, find a firepit, grill and picnic area. A perfect space for enjoying your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature and enjoying our many birds.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

Relax listening to the water flow over the dam or bring your fishing poles and fish right off the deck and at the dam, next to the cabin! Bring your kayaks and venture down the channel to the lake. Sip coffee in the morning right on the deck and enjoy the private view. The cabin has a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom. This cabin is great for a family with two children, or a couple looking for a quiet get away!
