Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Ulgham Grange Holiday Cottage, Northumberland

Beautiful rural cottage in the small village of Ulgham just outside Morpeth. This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.

The Hogglet - a perfect coastal getaway

The Hogglet provides a cosy, comfortable retreat for two people. Offering a fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom with an en-suite and a homely living space. Off street parking, guest patio and garden. Two small dogs or one medium dog (labrador size) welcome. We are surrounded by beautiful walks including the river Coquet and the breathtaking beaches. A stones throw away from Warkworth castle where you will stumble among the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Off street parking and large south facing garden. 5 minute walk to the Train Station, easy access North and South of the region via Train, or driving on the A189 and A1. Riverside walks, Woodhorn Museum, The ancient market town of Morpeth and the seaside town of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea are all a few minutes away.

The Sheepwash Shepherds Hut Morpeth

Beautiful cosy Shepherds Hut with views over the local countryside. Our bespoke hand made, wood fired hot tub offers a unique bathing experience. Enjoy the natural warmth of the water, heated and ready for your arrival. This does need to be booked in advance, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required at a charge of £40. If your stay is longer than one night we can empty, refill and reheat for a small charge of £15.00 per night.

Attention to detail including Willis and Gambier beds and furniture with quality mattresses to ensure comfort and luxury. So beautifully central for restaurants and shops. Large period kitchen with beautiful lighting and open beams, creating a wonderful ambience. Full of character and history!
