The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

This pristine little Scandinavian D-log cabin sits on over 2 quiet wooded acres a brief 5-minute drive from uptown Pagosa (our more commercial area with nicer grocery store, dining, brewery, Walmart, etc) and about 10 minutes to the springs (downtown). Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. This cozy 3 bedroom house is just 5 minutes from Navajo Lake, and there is room to bring your boat! It is also right between Wolf Creek Ski area and Purgatory Resort - you can get to either location in just one hour. It is located in the middle of hunting paradise with deer often hanging out in the backyard. It is a perfect spot to get away from the business of life and relax. Drink coffee while watching the horses eat their breakfast.
