At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Just 15 min to Bremerton-Seattle ferry!

Chesnut Cottage - writers retreat @ Harper's Hill

The Chesnut Cottage is the perfect quaint romantic getaway or rustic writer's retreat. One of three AirB&B listings on our 10-acre property atop Harper's Hill, it is surrounded by woods and a short walk up from the Puget Sound where you can fish from Harper pier or kayak over to Blake Island. The Southworth ferry terminal is just over a mile away providing direct access to both Seattle and Vashon Island. Harper is the perfect base camp for exploring the beautiful Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas.

Enjoy garden & mountain views from the "Hummingbird Haven," our bright and comfortable work-friendly, ground-level suite - the perfect island getaway or launching point for adventures on Bainbridge and beyond. The 2-room, non-smoking space has its own entrance and patio, a king-size bed, full bath, and roomy living area with fireplace, MCM furnishings and a wet bar. Owners live upstairs.
