Philoxenia is about being friendly to a stranger, in a particularly warm and generous way. This is what we offer as an experience. Our house is made of stone and wood. Sun light is getting in every room from plenty of windows.The house provides a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a fireplace. There are two bedrooms,each one with a private bathroom and air condition. You would find all you could possibly need. The best part of the house is its beautiful, private, full of green yard.

Our traditional stone houses Spitia are located at the settlement of Tsaliana, 5km from Paleochora. Katoi, the lower house, features one bedroom and can host 4 guests in total. It is equippped with Starlink satellite internet. Peace and seclusion!

Ten minutes drive from Kissamos this is a single self contained apartment with double bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living area. If you are looking for somewhere totally away from the turmoil of every day life, this is the place for you. The only other people here are Sue and I (and our Labrador, Darcy) However, Kissamos is close by and has everything you will need for shopping or eating out and also we are close to the popular beaches of Falasarna and Balos.

Alexandros House

Alexandros House is located in Platanos, Kissamos just 20m away from the doctor's office and close to the bus station. Platanos is approximatelly 53km away from Chania (a 40-45 min car ride) and just 5km from Falassarna beach. It is also near to other well-known beaches (Balos, Gramvousa, Sfinari and Elafonissi) and to Kasteli (a small town 8km away from the village).

Cabanon concrete retreat

An artist and an art curator (Antonis and Sofia) have created two cabins as a flirt to the architect Le Corbusier's famous house Le Cabanon - everything a person need without excess space, in the stunning surrounding nature (of endless olive trees in our case) and with a sea view and access to a quiet beach just 10 mins away.
