Yass is just 10 km and Murrumbateman Wineries 33 km. Glenview is a working farm where we breed Alpacas, Dorper Sheep, Aussie Miniature Goats, Free Range Hens, Turkeys and a Peacocks. This cosy cottage is close to everything, making it easy to plan your trip, wander the shops, galleries, the river trails and sites of Yass Valley or Canberra. If you love live music, local wine, whisky or gin, this is a great valley to explore. For fishing, bring your gear or boat for the river, the dam or a nearby lake. Our guests: couples, sml family/friends grp. No parties.

The secret little house

This is Canberra’s most wishlisted AirBNB. Hiding with private entry, this bright little 1-bed, 1-bath house offers free XL parking. Inside, tall ceilings, Australian bohemian style and a rare “upcycled” basketball court timber floor. It’s spacious, self-contained and centrally located. A short walk to local restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets. Ride the MetroTram to CBD for world-class restaurants, shops and nightlife. Unwind in this private, peaceful getaway. Dogs welcome, no cats.

Cozy, self-contained container unit

This unit is small with little space for suitcases but has all you need for a short stopover. Containing a small bathroom, bed, mini fridge, microwave, TV, heating, and cooling for comfort and parking space out front for your stay. This unit is part of a multi unit dwelling, and the second of which is available on Airbnb. Whilst there are no pets in the unit, the complex does have pet friendly residences, so you may encounter the occasional bark when wandering to and from your unit.

Separate, Comfortable, Functional, Stargazing.

Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)
