We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

Ideal location for walking, exploring North Wales mountains, the historic city of Chester, Wrexham Football club. Convenient for Chester races or zoo, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen or the World heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal. Fantastic mountain bike trail only 6 miles away. The Eaves at Eastwick is a newly renovated, self-contained flat on the first floor of a converted cow shed. It is located next to our traditional farmhouse in peaceful countryside on the English/Welsh border. Only 2 miles from Iscoyd Park, also close to Combermere Abbey and Peckforton Castle making it ideal accommodation for wedding guests. It also makes an ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside. Easy access to Whitchurch (3 miles) Malpas (5 miles) Chester & Shewsbury (20 miles)

There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

Ellesmere is a 1.5m drive, or a 1m walk/cycle along the canal towpath.
