On the Southern edge of the stunning Peak District overlooking picturesque Carsington Water, Manor Cottage is a 18th century Grade 2 Listed house with oak beams and log burning fire. Cosy, spacious and comfortable it has been recently restored to a high standard. The house comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. The Peak District is a magical place, lots of history and spectacular scenery. Whatever you like doing - eating, walking, cycling, shopping, sightseeing - this is the perfect base.

Located on the southern edge of the Peak District, with country walks from the front door, pubs, restaurants & artisan shops a short walk. Hidden on a hillside in the old town of Wirksworth, the cottage has amazing views over the Derbyshire Dales and pretty Wirksworth. Relax in the secluded garden or in front of the cosy log burner after exploring The Peak District. PLEASE read booking criteria below before requesting stay.

A three-bedroom, three sitting room townhouse full of charm, nestling in picturesque Wirksworth in the heart of Derbyshire. There is plenty of space for 6 people and the house is ideal for friends or family - an excellent base for a walking or cycling holiday in the Peak District. Three spacious living rooms allow flexibility to make use of the board games, enjoy the stunning views or just curl up with a good book in front of the log burner. There is a very small outdoor space at the rear.

Beautiful 18th Century Cottage

The Wee House on the Hill is a perfect retreat for a relaxing get away. Country walks straight from the door or a short stroll down into Wirksworth, an ancient market town steeped in history. The cottage is located in one of the oldest parts of Wirksworth, where miners cottages were randomly built around the hillside with a unique maze of paths and 'ginnels' (alleyways). Lots of independent shops and cafes & quirky pubs. Not forgetting Wirksworth's very own 'cool' & independent cinema!

Beautiful cottage in Peak District

Acacia Cottage has wonderful views and is a great location (walks, peak district, cycle track). It is also very well appointed and equipped. Originally three miners cottages, Acacia Cottage boasts three good-sized double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one study/bedroom with a sofabed, plus modern kitchen with gas range, large dining room, sitting room, study and large sunroom. Under-floor heating and wood burner make this delightful snug in winter. Good wi-fi and flat screen tv/DVD.

Perfect Peak District Stone Cottage Retreat

Matchbox Cottage is an idyllic retreat to the South East of the Peak District, perfect for up to 4 people. We have some of the best walks in England right on our doorstep. Dog friendly, one small or medium dog welcome. Situated only a 4 minute downhill walk to the centre of the historic, picturesque village of Wirksworth. Pubs, restaurants, cinema and shops are all close by. Our cottage has been lovingly restored and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Babington Cottage

Wirksworth is a small market town on the edge of The Derbyshire Peak District, an ideal location for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. The cottage, originally a quarryman's dwelling, has been fully refurbished and is maintained to a high standard. The accommodation: double and single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, shower room and TV lounge. Outside is a decked sitting area. Parking is in the courtyard of Babington House next door.
