Our Little Lakehouse

Please come and relax at our little lake house. Nestled at the end of a dead end on one of CT’s cleanest lakes, Columbia Lake. Purchased in the summer of 2024; the entirety of the home has been professionally renovated. A quick 15 minute drive to both UCONN and Eastern, the property is both secluded, but not too far from the beaten path. Close to local bakeries, antiquing, biking and walking trails; you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing time away. You’ll love Our Little Lakehouse.

Cozy cottage 5 minutes from UConn

Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. Hillside Haven

Enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the lake from the spacious deck or from the generously sized living room and bedroom windows. The lake is home to swans and bald eagles, as well as large and smallmouth bass. Relax in style in our spacious, beautifully furnished home featuring an arcade style game room, an exercise room including a home gym and two stationary bicycles positioned to overlook the lake, and a roomy kitchen stocked with all the cooking and baking equipment you need.

Boondocks Oasis On The River

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is a beautiful river on property where you can swim safely, fish and float down. Only 2-3 feet deep so fun for kids. Fire pit, lighted gazebo and lots of wildlife-nothing better than waking up to see deer in the orchard, hear the peeper frogs at night or watch birds making their nests. There is a shelter near the river with a campfire to enjoy. Located at the end of dead end road so safe for kids to play or ride bikes.

On The Run Farm

Quiet country setting, minutes from UCONN and easy access from RTE 84 makes this place perfect for visitors traveling through the "Quiet Corner" of CT. Spacious living room, bedroom. kitchen and bath are newly renovated with, hardwood floors, skylights, and windows that allow for lots of natural light. The entryway is private with a lovely porch that is a great place to sit with your morning coffee. Hiking trails can be accessed from the property.

Backyard Tiny House in the Woods

Cozy rustic tiny house nestled in the forest behind our home. Enjoy a private wooded setting, warm wood interiors, and an arched ceiling that opens the space. Climb to the loft for a comfy queen bed and peaceful views of the trees. A simple, quiet retreat perfect for unwinding in nature. The stairs to the loft are very steep and the ceiling is low up there. It would not be ideal for for children or those who can’t climb the stairs.
