Cruggleton Lodge, Galloway House Estate

Beautiful, hideaway cottage with stunning sea views, set on the edge of a magical wood. Warm kitchen with Aga, stylish sitting room, two bedrooms and a travertine-tiled bathroom. A dedicated workspace with wifi in this secluded, fairytale house. Cruggleton Lodge is off-grid and has its electricity supplied by solar panels and a back-up generator. There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate.

The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Cosy Galloway cottage - sleeps 5; beaches & walks

Burnside is a cosy, secluded bolthole and perfect base to explore old Galloway. Built in the 1850s, our family restored the bungalow in 1970 and we've been visiting since. The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

The Duck House Bothy

Experience rural Galloway in South West Scotland by staying in this carefully restored stone farm building nestled under an ancient sycamore tree. Enjoy the living area constructed from oak beams, sit and relax by the Jotul log stove, and watch a film on the smart TV after a day of walking, cycling or exploring the nearby beaches, hills and forests. Retreat to the mezzanine sleeping area, accessed by traditional bothy stairs. Between May and September farm tours are available by arrangement.

Lovely holiday home with stunning sea views

Set on the harbour front with easy access to the beautiful Isle of Whithorn, the flat is a new conversion in a historic building. From its cosy window seats you can watch the boats bobbing in the harbour just outside, and sometimes see local seals as well! Our comfortable holiday home is reached via its own courtyard and stairs. There are superb views of the coastline from all rooms and free parking. The first floor flat is just a short stroll away from a fantastic traditional pub/restaurant.

Longhill Farmhouse

Longhill is a rural getaway, surrounded by farmland, yet only a few minutes drive from the nearest town of Whithorn. It also boasts a number of beautiful beaches and walks on it's doorstep, plus charming harbour towns and Scotland's National Book Town, Wigtown. There are plenty of places to explore and visit, or you can simply cosy up by the fire, have a ping pong tournament, nap in the sumptuous beds, read in the garden. There are films, games and super fast fibre optic broadband.

High Ersock Cottage, Isle of Whithorn

Situated on working coastal farm in peninsula of Galloway, 3 km from Whithorn and its rich history, 3 km from Isle with its quaint harbour, 18km from Wigtown . Central heating, double glazing modern kitchen and very comfortable.2 bedrooms double plus twin beds,and walk in shower. Established garden, bbq area safe shed for bikes. Owner nearby and cleans and advises on places to visit. Pets on approval. No electric car charging allowed at the cottage as wiring and fuses not suitable.

The Granary, Little Tahall Farm

The Granary is situated on our small working farm with stunning views over Wigtown Bay. Sleeps 2/4 with twin or double bedroom downstairs, single/double bed can be provided in lounge. Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.

This charming, single-level former farm worker's cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and patio doors opening directly onto the garden with bay views, and two additional bedrooms each furnished with twin single beds.
