Just a short walk from cafés, shops, parklands and the beachfront, with Sandgate Station only 700m away (3 stops to BEC). Brisbane Airport is a 15-minute drive and the CBD is a 30-minute train ride. Stay with us for a peaceful break on an acreage property, away from the hustle and bustle, with abundant native birds and animals including our elusive koalas, often heard and occasionally spotted. Gran’s guest house is close to the main house with it’s own access and kitchenette, ensuite, two queen size beds (very close together) in a studio space. You have access to the pool directly out the front door. We provide a generous, seasonal, continental breakfast basket to help you settle in.

Wake up in the morning to just the sounds of the birds in your retreat set in 10 acres of rural paradise. From your private terrace, set amidst the beautiful gardens, you can wander freely through the grounds. Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Surrounded by natural beauty, with parks and waterways on our doorstep and a 10 min. walk to Shorncliffe train station.

You have the luxury of being nestled in amongst the trees, and can forget all about the fast pace of city life. If you feel like entertainment the Eatons Hill Hotel, Samford Hotel and Mercure Clear Mountain Lodge are only are short 12 minute drive from the cottage. There are lots of walks within the area and restaurants.

The Hideaway - Self Contained Cabin in bushland

A secluded, fully self contained annex comprising of 3 rooms with all the amenities you need for a quiet and relaxing break. Set back and away from the main property the cabin sleeps 4 comfortably. There is also Parking for at least 2 cars. Access to around 40 acres of bushland with established trails for walking or mountain biking with plenty of wildlife to see is also included. We are also close to Dayboro, Mount Mee and Lake Samsonvale.

The Little Petrie Hideaway

Enjoy a relaxing stay in this relatively-new, fully furnished one-bedroom guest house with a private entrance and access to a pool and spacious backyard.
