There are no steps inside or outside the home, allowing for easy access to all rooms. The huge, south-facing windows allow plenty of sunlight year-round. Corn hole has been added for your enjoyment! Many indoor games and puzzles. Peaceful porch or sit by a trickling streams.

The Welsh Mountain Cottage is located in Lancaster County on seven acres of wooded land. Amish neighborhood uniquely remote and peaceful. 8 minute drive to the famous Shady Maple Smorgasbord Restaurant. 15 minutes to the popular town of Intercourse with its many tourist shops. Back deck is a very private setting with charcoal grill. The cottage is a quiet setting with the exception of gun shots that can be heard from a shooting range that is approximately 1/2 mile from the cottage.

The Log House at Twin Brook

A cozy family getaway. While staying here, you will get to live in this historic stone home with a beautiful log addition. The original structure was built in the 1700s and served as the servant's quarters for the stone house across the road where your hosts now live. Set out in the country, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the woods, fields, and buggies going by on the road. The house is set close to the road, so traffic can be heard at times.

It's right across the street from Kitchen Kettle Village , a famous Lancaster County attraction with various shops & eateries. It's also a short 5 min. drive from the town of Bird in Hand, another famous Lancaster County attraction. A short walk, bicycle ride or drive takes you into the surrounding scenic Amish farmland of Lancaster County.

Welcome to the renovated Old Farmhouse that was built in the 1800's! We are excited to host you! This is an old farm house in Amish country located about 10 minutes from Intercourse PA. The house has some rustic features such as the original hardwood floors, with plenty of space in the living room and dining room for a family. Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe. The studio has been re-imagined as a peaceful retreat for families, friends and couples.
