Welcome to the vintage 100 year old original guest Cabin, nestled over the Salish Sea on a private estate with two cabins, beach, camp fire, kayaks & paddle boards. Seals, otters, eagles and deer are your neighbors. Walk to Turtleback Mountain south trailhead for grand views above. The secluded Hot Tub is tucked under cedar trees, over the beach, private for either cabin, but not at the same time.

It’s the perfect place to stop and rejuvenate, be it hiking the InterUrban trail or enjoying the outstanding view of the bay, Dot Island, or watching the eagles, boats, and glorious sunsets from the private deck. *A majestic Geodesic Dome on a hillside acre overlooking Chuckanut Bay near WWU, Fairhaven,+ B'ham.

The Forested Getaway is in Sudden Valley, a lakeside "village" nestled in the forests of Lake Whatcom. Grab your hiking shoes or mountain bike and hop on the trail right behind the rental, which also connects to Galbraith, a nationally recognized mntn biking venue. After, slide into the hot tub, or relax by the fire pit. Take the kids to the playground, the lake, or the pup to the dog park! Don't forget shopping or a visit to the many breweries in town! Did we mention the Taylor Shellfish??
