There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Has a living room, 2 bedrooms with queen beds (single on request), separate bathroom, toilet, and dining/laundry kitchenette. Garden, patio, salt pool, BBQ, and pizza oven. Free wifi off street parking and a paddock for horses. Fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and everything you need to make a simple meal. Not a full kitchen.
