The peaceful retreat with two cottages set in a woodland oasis. Specifically designed for couples wanting that romantic getaway. Additional features include an outside bath in amongst trees with hot water from a wood fired water heater and a Swedish/Danish styled steam sauna.

Farmstay Cabin Waihi - Rua Horehore

Our repurposed cabin is located 8 mins out of Waihi on a 10 HA lifestyle block. 2 rooms on a fully fenced deck, 1 with a queen bed, the other with 3 bunks sleeps 7. Think DOC hut style, the toilet is a short walk away. Kitchen, bathroom & washing machine is situated 100m from the cabin in a utility shed. Centrally located to all that Waihi has to offer. Waihi Beach - 15km Whiritoa - 12km Homunga track car park - 4km Karangahake walkway- 20km Please note a stream runs through the property.

Kingfisher cottage -outdoor bath, fire, sauna

King fisher cottage is a tranquil eco cottage set on the rivers edge of 11 acres of wild farmland and beautifully landscaped gardens that offer total privacy. The cottage has a semi-outdoor bath for bathing while star gazing, a kitchenette, living area & bedroom. There is no wifi & minimal phone reception, the perfect place to get away and unwind an enjoy nature. PLEASE NOTE: June through to September the track is too soft for a car so you need to park in the carpark and walk 40m to cottage.

The Travellers Tiny Hideaway

Tucked into our established back garden of fruit trees, you can enjoy a quiet private hideaway with easy entrance and off-street parking. Perfect for singles/couples wanting to explore our beautiful Cambridge, or a one night trip stop-off. We are a 20-25 min walk (5-10 min drive) to Cambridge township amenities incl walking paths, Lake Te Ko Utu Domain/shops, and wonderful cafes/restaurants. The velodrome and Te Awa River Ride are a short drive away. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato!

Wainui River Glamping

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. The Garden Retreat Waitawheta

This couples Retreat is ideal for that relaxing , rejuvenating break. This calm stylish space will let you do that. Set in beautiful gardens with views to nearby hills,excellent hikes and river walks nearby.What else could you need for that getaway. A well fitted out cabin with all modern facilities available. Kitchen with cooking facilities and all you require. Queen size bed and inside bathroom with towels,shampoo and body wash supplied. Outside sitting area with barbecue for you to use.

Littlefoot Tiny House

Tiny house complete with small kitchenette and bathroom as well as an outside shower and bath. The cabin can be configured with a superking bed or 2 single beds. Peaceful rural setting just 4 km from the iconic Whangamata beach. Sealed road for cyclists and just 2km from beautiful bush walks and waterfall. We are a small farm with cattle, sheep and chickens. There is an organic garden and orchard. Self catered but continental breakfast can be supplied on request at $12.50 per person (cash).

The cabin is in a beautiful location on a 2 acre lifestyle block, perched on the hill with picturesque views overlooking the valley. The river to the falls is located just down the hill, and you can usually hear the river bubbling away whilst relaxing and enjoying the views from your own private deck. It’s peaceful and quiet here. We have a few farm animals -Isabella the calf, 🐮, and Furball 🐱 who might pop in. We also rent out E bikes for hire so send me a msge if you are keen.

You have wrap-around views of the Pacific, Tauranga Harbour and the Kaimai mountain range. Near by you have the bush on your doorstep with private access to a pristine river where you’ll see crays and eels and be serenaded by the sound of bell birds and tuis echoing in the forest around you.
