Ons huisje staat in één van de mooiste Waterlandse dorpen, Broek in Waterland. Het bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving, op 8 km van Amsterdam. Op 3 minuten lopen afstand vind je de bushalte, waardoor je binnen 12 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal staat. Het gastenverblijf zelf biedt alles wat je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt. In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Our floating chalet has a lot of glassware so that you retain the unobstructed view. You are close to Amsterdam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Enough activity in the area, so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet or seek out the hustle and bustle. There is a terrace and a floating balcony. There is also parking at the chalet.

At the hart of Old-Holland lays Edam. Enjoy our appartement, right in the historic Town Center, direct at the cheese market. A direct bus connection brings you 24/7 at a high frequency to the Amsterdam Central station in 30 minutes to vist the town till late. Bicycles for rent available at the house, for a trip trough the country side of Holland. Visit the old fishermans villages Volendam and Marken. At the end of the day return to Edam and enjoy the local restaurants and your appartement

Gelegen in het hart van de pittoreske grachten van Edam, biedt dit charmante grachtenhuis een ontspannen sfeer met een picknicktafel aan het water, dat uitkomt op het IJsselmeer. In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.

It is located in a residential area in the center of Volendam, in 3-5 minutes walking distance from the most popular places: the old harbour, bars & restaurants, shops, supermarkets, the Volendams museum & Saturday's market. Living in a typical dutch house, but also close to all places of touristic interest is a unique combination that will make your stay fantastic!
