Erie Intn'l Airport is slightly less than 1 hr away, and Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo airports are within 2 hrs. The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Sweet Solitude

Visit this tiny rural cabin. Now is prime birdwatching season! Bring binoculars. Excellent neighbors, but none in sight. 🙂 Sometimes we just want to be alone. Sweet Solitude is a private place to focus on what's really most important, especially for couples. Our cabin locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.

Alice and Doc's Place

Welcome to our fully furnished apartment, perfect for one or two guests. It features a quiet, clean, cozy space. We offer a comfy king size bed. The bathroom is handicapped equipped with grab bars and a spacious shower. Private guest entry has steps, but we have a ramp entry if mobility issues are a concern. Guests have use of designated parking and an outdoor patio area with a propane grill. Located in a quiet, country setting minutes from downtown Meadville and Allegheny College.

Come and relax in this comfortable cottage that sits on the bank of scenic French Creek. The cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8 comfortably), living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (towels included), screened in front porch and a car port for your vehicle. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in front porch. During the day you can fish, kayak/canoe, wade/swim or just sit and relax watching the water go by. Sit by a campfire in the evenings enjoying the fresh country air.
